Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Balance Raid is a team-based competition that emphasizes balance, precision, and cooperation. Teams must carry weighted objects across unstable platforms and pass them relay-style without losing balance or dropping items.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Balance beams (or taped planks on gym floor)
- Weighted sacks or objects (2–5 lbs each)
- Baton or passable object
- Timer or stopwatch
- Cones to define course

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- 15–20 meter balance beam course per lane
- Relay stations every 5 meters
- Clear zones for passing objects between players

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- 4–6 players per team
- 1 course marshal (ensures object transfer and balance rules)
- 1 timer

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Be the fastest team to complete the full relay course without losing balance or dropping objects. Each player must walk their segment while maintaining stability and holding the designated object.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Only one player may be on each segment at a time.
2. The baton (or sack) must be passed without stepping off the beam.
3. A player falling off the beam must return to the start of their segment.
4. Dropped objects must be retrieved before continuing.
5. Each team completes two runs — best time counts.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Blindfold Segment**: One player completes their segment blindfolded
- **Double Weight**: Heavier object passed each round
- **Obstacle Beam**: Add small hurdles or turns to the beams
- **Balance Point**: Teams earn extra points for best form and posture

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Relay time per segment
- Balance faults (falls)
- Object drops
- Total completion time

---

**NOTES**
Balance Raid is ideal for developing control, patience, and physical discipline. The sport can be adapted for indoor or outdoor use, and difficulty scaled by modifying beam width and object weight. It’s great for school settings, camps, or open park games.
